Chew Valley

Alderman - left

As you approach the middle of the crag the first problem described can be seen to the far left on a steep clean wall, just left of the obvious fin of rock.

1. Climb the steep juggy wall, a good spot to warm up, easy.

2. Climb the short wall, via the hollow flake, easy.
3. Little Big Problem. Climb the wall left of the fin with a series of tricky moves for the top (don't wimp out left), a good problem with a good (enough) landing, 6b.
4. Big Little Problem. Climb the steep fin of rock acheval, a fantastic looking problem with a terrible landing, (E3 6c) 7b+.

Across broken rock 20 yards right or so is an obvious hollow flake.

5. Climb the really pleasant flake, its really hollow, don't pull out just pull down and don't even think about putting a cam behind it (did I mention it is very hollow, you have been warned), 4.

Again about 20 yards right across broken rock is another flake, more solid this time.

6. Climb the flake, a one move wonder, 4.
