Wimberry - Shellshot

Shellshot has a gloomy downhill face with a couple of good and quite hard problems and some easier slabby stuff on its right hand side.

Shellshot

1. Lower arete, 4.
2. Middle of slab past the 2 holes, 4.
3. The uphill arete climbed on the left side, 5.

4. The right hand arete, climbed on the downhill face has a tricky start, easy climbing then leads to a worrying finish. Use the big handholds round the arete at this grade but keep your feet on the downhill face/arete. 6a.
5. The centre of the downhill face is climbable via some friable flakes, crimpy, and is around 7a.
